The time has finally come for audiences to embark on the second half of the fantastical “Wicked” adventure that began a year ago.
“Wicked: For Good” hit theaters on Friday, Nov. 21, once again starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo . The sequel to the 2024 blockbuster “Wicked” is inspired by Gregory Maguire’s book “Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West” and the Broadway musical of the same name, “Wicked.”
Last year’s debut was a massive box office and door-busting hit with all the excitement and hype that comes from a long-awaited premiere. However, if you’re the type who prefers to avoid crowds and overpriced popcorn, you may want to wait until “Wicked: For Good” releases on streaming to watch at home.

When will ‘Wicked: For Good’ be on streaming?
Universal has not yet announced when “Wicked: For Good” will be available to stream. However, the first “Wicked” movie was available for pre-order on multiple streaming platforms in December 2024, just over a month after its theatrical premiere, per USA TODAY’s previous reporting.
It became available for streaming on Peacock in March and debuted on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD on Feb. 4, 2025. It was later left on Peacock and is now available to stream or buy on Amazon Prime Video. It is unclear which platform Universal will opt for to stream the second installment on.
Fans can likely expect a similar timeline this time around. USA TODAY has reached out to Universal for more information.
Where to watch “Wicked” part one

The first ‘Wicked’ film is streaming on Prime Video for members. It is also available to purchase for $9.99 or rent for $3.99 on Prime Video, no membership required.

Fans can also watch both “Wicked” and “Wicked: For Good” back to back at movie theaters on Thursday, Nov. 20, at AMC , C inemark and Regal theaters. Just be prepared with ample snacks and bathroom break plans, as the double feature’s runtime is 5 hours and 12 minutes.
